So today at lunch Cameron decided to identify where everyone sits at the table (creatures of habit... it's always the same).
Cameron: "Cameron's chair," as he reaches both hands behind him awaiting my applaud.
Me: "Yes, that's Cameron's chair. Good job."
Cameron: "Mom chair. Dad chair," pointing to our seats respectively. Then he gives me a cute little grin, and points to the chairs next to each of our chairs. "Grandma chair! Grandpa chair!"
Me: "Good job!"
Cameron: "Grandma, where?" I think at this point he was hoping I would say they were in the office just waiting to pop out and surprise him.
Needless to say, he loves to skype with the grandparents. And if it were up to him we would hang out with them everyday :)

Ellie Nicole Robbins
Little Miss Ellie finally arrived! She was born on April 11th, 2011; 10:12am, 7 lbs 15 oz, 19.75 inches long :) She arrived in perfect health, though a little bruised after such a rapid appearance (it only took 3 hours! Boy am I lucky!). I am doing great as well :)

She is a very content little lady. She eats great, sleeps well, and cries very little! And of course she is awfully cute! Cameron is still not sure what to make of her, and he seems to be having the hardest time adjusting to our new life. He seems to think he has been replaced and doesn't understand why he isn't the center of attention anymore :( He is a great helper still and loves to give her kisses! He also likes to replace binky in her mouth whenever she makes even the slightest peep. And he likes to look at her and watch what she does, though he seems to get bored and just wishes she would play with him!

We are looking forward to the summer and all the warm weather! And hopefully a big yard for us to play in!

Cameron and his little sister to be
As of this week, I am 30 weeks along. I can't believe it is February already! It is fun to get all the little girl stuff; as much as I love all the boy stuff, the girl tights and shoes are awfully cute :) Cameron doesn't really know what is coming his way, but I know he is going to be a great big brother. He loves to help around the house with the dishwasher, laundry, unloading groceries, and everything in between :) He is becoming quite the climber and is starting to attempt jumping. His dancing and singing are my favorite! He is teething right now but deals with it pretty well until it gets close to nap/bed time. Poor guy! We have been working on the vocab and he loves to talk all the time! Some of his favorite words are dog, car, ears, and bird. He loves animals, but almost every one is either a dog or a bird :) His new favorite thing is to walk around the house humming and plugging his ears. Then he stops, unplugs his ears, pauses, giggles, and does it all over again! Or he sits by the speakers when music is on plugging and unplugging his ears while humming, talking, and laughing. Anyway, we think we have finally decided on a name for the little one, and we are super excited for her to arrive :)

A first birthday and another baby on the way!
As many of you may know, we celebrated Cameron's first birthday (Oct. 20th) a couple weeks ago. My Mom and Grandma came to visit for the week, and we celebrated with just us and a small "party" of sorts. He ate chocolate pudding and cake for the first time; he loved every bite! It took quite awhile to open gifts because he would want to play with each new toy (even the clothes), so Bryant and I pretty much opened all his gifts for him trying to lure him from one to the next :) After dinner, it was cake time and he was so excited when he saw Bryant come around the corner with cake topped with candles. When we were done singing (which I don't even think he noticed we were doing), Bryant took the cake back to the kitchen to take out the candles and cut it up. Cameron was devastated! In the end, we discovered he loves sweets.
Following his birthday is Halloween, which enhanced Cameron's love of sweets! He was a cute little pumpkin and went to about a dozen houses. He loved every minute of it, especially when they handed him candy :) It was like he already knew.... By the time we got home, he was getting a little sleepy; but then we dumped out his bag of candy on the floor and got sooooo excited. We picked out a few we could break up and give him smaller bites of (like Reece's cups). Every time he got a bite in his mouth he would smile and make his "mmmmmmm" sound! So cute :) We put the candy on top of the hutch next to the dining table so now every time we sit down to eat he refuses the food we offer and points to the candy. He grumpily eats most of his meal and eagerly waits to see if he gets a bite of candy, too. So cute :)
We have lots of good things going on right now it seems. Many of you may already know that Baby Robbins #2 is on the way, due April 15 also known as Tax Day. Regardless of the day Baby will be arriving, we are very excited :) We have been trying to help Cameron understand, but he seems to be pretty clueless. They will be about a year and a half apart. Cameron loves playing with other kids and I think he will really enjoy having a sibling to play with all the time :) We find out in a couple weeks whether Baby is a girl or boy! We are very excited, needless to say!
Other than all that, there really isn't much going on in our lives. Bryant is working hard all day, and Cameron and I play all day :) We are going to Indiana for Christmas to see a bunch of my extended family. Cameron's cousin, Theo, is about 7 months older and it will be lots of fun for them to play together! But for now, we will just sit back and enjoy the Southern Fall :)

Southern Living
As the title reveals, we are officially \living in the south, Mississippi to be exact. We have adjusted to the humidity and are enjoying how green it is.
We have made a few friends, and have found a babysitter. There are a few water parks near by that we hope to enjoy one of these weekends. We are purchasing a truck tomorrow, and hopefully a new dining table to follow that (if you remember our dining table from before, you know why that is so exciting). Our new place is pretty nice. Cameron swims in the pool a few days a week, which he loves. People fish in the pond that is behind our place so Bryant is excited to get his fishing license. We are still church shopping, and aiming for a great pastor above all else. We REALLY miss Grace Bible Church right now! We are in the Bible belt, though, so we are quite hopeful there is something just right for us.
Cameron is 9 months old now! Starting to walk along everything and even a few seconds of standing on his own. He will be walking soon enough and my life will be cranked up a notch. He loves giving hugs and kisses which I know won't last long so I appreciate every one of them! He eats everything he can get his hands on including dog poop, bugs, post-it notes, and bubble bath straight from the bottle. By the way, does anyone know how to get bubble bath out of carpet?
Though we may not stay here forever, we are enjoying it for the time being. I don't particularly care for the bugs (there was a jumping spider I had to capture and release this morning... yuck!), but there are many other aspects of living here that far outweigh the bugs right now. All this to say we are busy, but doing well and enjoying ourselves.

One day at a time...

So it has been awhile since I updated the blog. As to be expected, a lot has happened :)
Cameron is growing bigger every day. I can't believe how big he is already! (He has already tripled his weight and gone from the 10th percentile to the 75th.) We have the 6th month appointment next week; time goes by so quick! He is around 18 1/2 pounds now, but we will see for sure in a few days. He loves swimming and is on the verge of crawling. We were hoping to avoid the baby-proofing before we moved, but that wish is long gone :) He already loves the measuring cups and spoons in the kitchen... and basically everything he can get his hands on.
Otherwise, Bryant is finishing up his last few weeks on his degree! We are getting so anxious for summer! In a matter of weeks we will be done with this chapter and be starting a new one. We will be moving some time around the second week of June and he starts his job a couple weeks later. We are so blessed! He decided to put the grad school off until next spring. At that point he will work full time and they will pay him to go to school (even if it cuts out of his work day). Then in a couple years they will send us off for a year to get a portion of his PhD started. Then we will return to MS for a couple more years and he will do the research while he works. Pretty amazing!
So, at the time being, we will move into an apartment for a short bit while we look to buy/build a house. The realtor we have be talking with sends us info on new homes and property in our range. It is so exciting to look at floor plans :) It is still somewhat surreal... but very exciting.
In about 8 weeks we will be living in MS! The people we have met are great and even more laid back than Montanans :) We are going to fit right in.

Cameron Joel Robbins
Our new son was born Tuesday, October 20th, at 7:50 a.m. He weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. We thank God for his perfect health and wonderful personality :) We are excited to start a new part of our lives as parents!
Both of these pictures were taken this morning during one of his many naps :) He is so darn cute!
